Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence with Samsung Innovation Campus is a 12-week online course that focuses on building the fundamental capabilities of Al. You will be able to learn AI modeling on a concrete foundation of mathematics including probability, statistics, and linear algebra. The curriculum will help you to experience the Machine Learning tools and real-world problem solving with various exercises and practical project. You will have a fluid understanding of, and practical experience with, the process of designing, implementing, and communicating the results of an AI project.

Anyone interested in pursuing a career in AI. Learners should have prior experience with coding and an understanding of basic statistics.

• Blended online course over 12 weeks
• 1-2 live online sessions per week (evenings - approximately 1.5 hours)
• Self-paced online lecture content
• Exercises to practice
• Quizzes to progress in the curriculum
• Capstone project including mentoring from instructor (scheduled appointments)

Course Prerequisites

● Age 18 and up
● Saudi nationals or individuals whose spouse or mother is Saudi
● Very good spoken and written English proficiency
● Coding experience: basic level understanding of Object-Oriented Language and syntax (e.g. Java, JavaScript, C++, etc.)
● Foundational knowledge of statistics
● Regular access to a computer and good online connection
● All applicants must complete all steps in the admissions process
● Payment of SAR 575 (including VAT) commitment fee (refundable upon graduation).
● You may apply to more than one program, but you will only be accepted in one (based on your application). If you really prefer one program, you should only apply to that program.
● You may not apply to this program if you are already enrolled in another Misk Academy program (due to the amount of work).

What You Will Learn

● Understand the basic concepts of Probability, Statistics, and Linear Algebra relevant to building AI.
● Understand the basic concepts of Python and using it to complete real-world coding exercises.
● Implement AI (Machine Learning + Deep Learning) with related packages and learn its application to solve real-world problems.
● Understand the landscape of data science tools and their applications as well as identifying new technologies and algorithms needed for the job at hand.
● Understanding and practical experience with the process of designing, implementing, and communicating the results of an AI project.
